Welcome back to Western Illinois’ quest to become the greatest college basketball program of all-time in ‘College Hoops 2K8’. If you’re new here, check out the About page for a full recap of the series. Here’s what happened last season: We set out to defend our national championship after losing four senior starters. My new team struggled in non-conference, but closed the year undefeated in the Summit League … until we lost in the conference tournament title game to Oral Roberts.
Hatten doesn't get back into the Georgetown game until 2:28 to go in the second half? Copeland plays 20 minutes to Hatten's 25? More frustrating in-game decisions.
Congrats on the highest seed in program history! And it’s about time the pollsters start respecting the job Ricky Charisma is doing in Macomb. Points of note: the team last year had a single digit seed as the 9, and I believe the national championship team also won thirty games. Keep up the great work! I look forward to updates all week.
The rotations were bad in the Illinois state game. Trevor Hoyer had 18 minutes, same as Hatten and more than Powell, Amous, Ballinger, and Holden. It worked though!
Just a gut wrenching lose to the Hoyas. The 17-18 team will have a lot to prove. Bounced from the dance the last two season in round 2! They need Coach Rick to get them hyped for the season by using all of those Charisma Points.
I can't believe Lubos is a senior. They grow up so fast.

Since you've finished year 10, I would love to see an All-Decade Team.
