Goode and Hoyer are the most underrated players in program history. Goode should have his number retired when all is said and done, and instead people act like he's the weak link of the starting lineup. Nonsense! While Terrell and Draughan have waited until the tournament to turn up their games, Hoyer and Goode have been bringing it every day the past two seasons. Averaging more points than anyone else on the team (besides Stonks).

Thanks a solid take. If Goode wins another Summit League POY award this year, it's going to be really hard to keep him out of the hall. If nothing else he'll be in the reader vote.

UCLA has no center. Hoyer and Goode will destroy them on the glass.

I wish there was a way to set the game plan to "pound the ball inside", but there's not.

I know the name of the game in big time college basketball is Final Four or bust, but I think you're missing out on something pretty historic. If I'm rereading the past summaries correctly the Leathernecks have now won 126 consecutive regular season conference games and 72 conference games in a row overall including the tournaments. They haven't lost in the Summit since the 2016 conference championship game. Not bad!

Looks like we have 84 consecutive conference wins by this. https://twitter.com/Evan03622463/status/1270810886861537280

Thank you for looking that up on your own. It's clear the Summit League can't touch us. Next year might be their only chance when we lose five starters.

Noticed that defense went up to 100 over the sweet 16 and elite 8. Nice! Rebounding still at 99. Ricky Charisma needs a couple more coaching points to climb closer to 100. It would be epic to one day see 100 across the board for WIU! 😁

It's hard to get the remaining coaching points. The two most likely ones seem to be "sign a five-star during the season" and "beat the No. 1 team in the regular season". Beyond that, there are points for 500 and 800 career wins, winning national coach of the year (if I didn't win it during the undefeated season, will I ever win it?), having an All-American or national POY. There are two coaching points available for "taking a bigger job" and "taking a power conference job", but I'm sure I'm there quite yet.

Oh, you aren't taking those last two for sure. 🤣 And yeah, I'm not sure you will get national coach of the year at WIU, the game algorithms probably aren't really set up for coaches of Cinderella teams.

1) 21 rebounds. Forget what I said about platooning Goode and Harper. My bad. 2) 6 of UCLA's top 7 players are either shooting guards or shooting forwards. This team is built weird. But there will clearly be a lot of stress from the opposition wings this game. Go Leathernecks!
