My friend came over and didn't wanna watch the stream, so I had to bail in the first half of the Louisville game. Glad to see WIU advancing to the sweet 16!!!!
Also... tied for first after the first two rounds! Boom! 😁 Though, as I told Sean when asking how to update my profile with my name, I think my bracket is gonna fall apart after the Sweet 16 and definitely the Elite 8.
Jorts has to be a $5 center now. He scored 25.9 a game and is the all-time leading scorer in program history. That is excellence on a single season level and a collegiate career level. As Bill James would say -- he outperformed everyone (all players, not just centers) on both a Peak Value level as well as a Career Value level.
Austen Kleinzweig and Borislav Grimes were cancers to the program. They let the team slip under their leadership, and bounced when things got tough. Now the team of youngsters is flourishing without them
